The barn is all about exceptional, group entertaining and bringing people together; spacious and finished to the highest standard. Whether drinking in the views from the fabulous hot tub, or challenging one another around your own private golf course. Feel your shoulders start to drop as you relax and reconnect.
The retreat is set within 60 acres of unspoilt woodland, fields, and streams, which are yours to enjoy and explore. This is your time to kick back and become unshackled from the stresses of everyday life.
Al fresco dining, wild swimming in the lake, long country walks, friendly competition in the games room, field golf, firepits and stargazing from the hot tub are just some of the experiences that we have to offer you. Set on the doorstep of the Exmoor National Park, you’ll enjoy a feeling of splendid isolation while having every home comfort for your perfect getaway.

Amazing location if you want peace and quiet – no traffic noise just the sound of the countryside. Excellent host who was discreet but always available to answer questions on walks and facilities in the beautiful local area. Property was faultless – ideal for young, old and mobility impaired. Very well equipped, spacious and clean. Bonuses to holiday were the en suite bedrooms, hot tub, the gas bbq and the fire pit – all used and enjoyed.

A beautifully appointed cottage with amazing views and grounds. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we had a super family break. Their attention to detail was evident from how the cottage was decorated and equipped and we loved every moment there.

Lazy Sheep Barn was even better than we expected! the quality of everything associated with it is top notch and the attention to detail is a real credit to the owners. The Barn is situated in an ideal spot to be able to both enjoy the amazing surroundings, walks and country life, but also to visit the local areas of beauty very easily. We took a party of grandparents, children and grandchildren and this wonderful facility catered for every one of our needs!

This was an excellent house to stay in ,and lovely ,not needing anything else to add to facilities , extremely well equipped. Plenty of room for 10 of us ,from 1 year old to 70 year old, not forgetting the dog. A lovely peaceful break to enjoy some great family time together after this horrible year the whole world has gone through. Cannot recommend Last Sheep Barn enough and the welcome gifts were a lovely surprise and enjoyed very much.A great big thank you from us all.

Our first outing after lockdown and the whole family were looking forward to a change of walls! Stunning property, full of character and set in beautiful scenery. A beautifully renovated barn, that gave 5/6 adults and 4 children plenty of space. Well equipped indoors and out, we all enjoyed the lovely terrace, bbq and in particular the hot tub! Charlie and Hayley were friendly hosts, and helpful with information and emergency flour! We had a great holiday and would thoroughly recommend

Just returned from a fabulous holiday staying at The Lazy Sheep. The house is one of the best we have ever stayed in. Walks from your doorstep, hot tub to relax in, swimming lake was a BIG hit, as was the golf course and enough space for the 10 (plus 2 dogs) of us to find peace and quiet if we wanted it. Lots of happy memories made in a beautiful place.

Lazy Sheep – designed with comfort & relaxation in mind. The decor, furniture, comfy beds & super soft linens were all on point. The beamed bedrooms were full of character, all had en suites, beautiful rugs, throws & cushions & a welcome decanter of white port! Theres plenty of space, the lounge has relaxing seating & a wood burner with DVDs & books. The kitchen was really well equipped, we loved the big bi-fold doors & large table. The 60 acres to explore & the hot tub was just fabulous!

We were looking for peace and quiet in a very special place, and we certainly found it here. The barn and the land have been so sensitively handled, we felt a wonderful sense of wellbeing as soon as we arrived, and that feeling only improved as the week went on. an extraordinary place to stay, sadly only for a week.

We would certainly return. Ideal for families, or even a group of friends as separate bedroom areas and plenty of space to relax. 5* barn conversion and beautifully decorated with everything provided. The owners were just lovely and wanted to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Hot tub and lake a big hit with all.
